President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh received the full roster of the Ulaanbaatar Xac Broncos, a nine-time champion of the Mongolian Basketball League.
During the meeting, the President praised the team for its impressive achievements and highlighted its positive influence on children and youth, inspiring them to engage in the sport of basketball. In addition to their domestic success, the team won the Basketball Champions League - Asia East /BCL-Asia East/ and a bronze medal in the BCL-Asia, becoming the first Mongolian team to qualify for the East Asian Super League. The President congratulated them on being named one of the top three clubs in the region and wished them continued success. He also acknowledged the unification of previously divided basketball federations under a single organization—an effort made possible through his initiative and support.
Bat-Ireedui Jargalsaikhan, owner and investor of the Xac Broncos, noted that with a clear vision, consistent leadership, disciplined management, and unity of purpose, Mongolian basketball has accelerated in both growth and success.
Five players from the Ulaanbaatar Xac Broncos have been selected to represent Mongolia in the 2024–2025 national team. Looking ahead, the team plans to organize an annual Sports Business Forum, a public unity parade, and youth-oriented activities that promote the values of sports and social cohesion.
The Ulaanbaatar Xac Broncos are managed by Khuleguud Sports Management, a company backed by Gund Investment . In addition to its men’s and women’s teams in the National Super League, the organization operates the Khuleguud Academy, which develops the next generation of athletes.
