Gund Investment unveils systems engineering and AI solutions at UNCCD COP17

Over 50% of global GDP ($44 trillion) depends on healthy land, yet legal complexities and fragmented data often stand in the way of unlocking critical green financing.

At the 17th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP17), Gund Investment successfully presented systems-engineering and technology-based presentations at the Business4Land Pavilion, organized by the Business Council of Mongolia.

🌱 Dugar Jargalsaikhan, Founder of Gund Investment and Head of Systems Engineering Institute NGO, presented on 'From Monitoring to Intelligence: Operationalizing Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN)'. He introduced a new methodology, the Rangeland System Reference Model, that treats rangelands as coupled ecological-operational systems, moving beyond isolated indicators to diagnose root causes and empower decision-makers with evidence-based adaptive management.

💻 Bayartsengel Batsaikhan, CEO of TUS Solution LLC, delivered a presentation titled 'AI-assisted Scalable ESG Compliance System', highlighting how the AI-powered tuss.io system reduces legal risks and unlocks opportunities for green investment.

Business Council of Mongolia, of which Gund Investment is a member, served as the official private sector partner and co-organizer of the conference.
